Harmonise your mind and body

Holistic Bodywork image
Bodywork is a holistic therapy that has the potential to bring many beneficial effects to your health and wellbeing. It can be a rewarding process that works to create a stronger connection and awareness to your body and to health, offering a greater sense of wellness including pain relief, increased mobility, more energy and vitality, improved posture, more body awareness, reduced stress, improved moods to name a few.

Sessions can be tailored to focus around improving a variety of ailments such as headaches, IBS, anxiety, piriformis syndrome, fibromylagia and other chronic pain conditions or with focus on general maintenance and releasing general tension. The effects of bodywork are accumulative, and when we work mindfully with the process, continuing to nurture and support the benefits of the treatments, shifts within the body can become more permanent.

Treatments offer a combination of techniques depending on your needs including: myofascial release, fascial unwinding, hot stones, mobilisations and stretches, shiatsu and acupressure applications, trigger point work and other deep tissue techniques, reflexology, cupping, guided relaxation, embodiment tools and breath focus.

please note: it may be beneficial to book 75 or 90 min sessions in some cases to allow time for more thorough work

A bit about the treatments
The aim in my bodywork approach is to help you feel more at ease in your body and to grow a deeper sense of listening to self and enhanced ability to feel relaxed within your whole being. I use a combination of techniques which work to decrease pain and improve mobility whilst supporting a deeper mind-body connection, which I believe is a major key to wellness and healing. I listen closely to each individual to ensure that each session offers results in line with your needs and also opens you up to awareness of your health and wellbeing holistically. Suggestions for self-care are offered as a part of your treatment plan to enable you to feel more confident to support your own aims and process.

A bit about me
I became interested in the mind-body connection and its positive effect on health and wellbeing during my study of contemporary dance at Trinity Laban. This understanding was further opened up through following my interest in the Eastern philosophies on health including Chinese Medicine and Qigong. I completed a Foundation Degree in Complementary Healthcare at Brighton University in 2015 and went on to work as a Massage Therapist. I have continued to build on my knowledge and training to broaden my ability to help assist others in gaining more awareness and motivation for their own health and wellness goals.

Additional training includes:
- Primary Certificate in Health & Wellbeing coaching at the Centre For Coaching, London (helping people to reach health goals, and understanding the blockages around them)
- Advanced clinical massage in Myofascial Release work at The Jing Institute in Brighton - 2019, Fascial Unwinding at London College of CST - 2025 and various online courses and study. (this enables effective realignment and reorganisation of the connective tissues to support health, increase mobility and manage pain).
Qigong Instructor training (Chinese Yoga) Qi Gong Teacher Training at The Shiatsu College, London - 2019/21. (an internal healing art form that works with the flow of energy through the body to increase and maintain health and vitality through slow movement, focus and breath).
Manual Lymphatic Drainage at the London School of Massage -2021 (can help ease chronic pain, boost the immune system and reduce fluid retention).
- Yoga Nidra (300 hour online training - current)
Craniosacral Therapy (currently undergoing training - 2025-2027)
- CPD courses in Orthopaedic Assessment and Massage, Chair Massage, Hot Stone MassageRosen Method.
- First Aid in the Workplace (Mantra Training, Eastbourne- Dec 2023)

Natalie takes pride in her job and when I got recommended to her about my trapped nerve she fixed it and I've been going monthly ever since! She knows what techniques to use depending on what's needed. I always leave feeling much better and she's so friendly I always like to listen to any advice on offer.

Natalie has given me treatments which have been superb. She knows the body in great depth and used a variety of techniques in her massage including acupressure, fascial work and stretching. I feel I have had a whole body and mind cleanse. I couldn’t recommend Natalie any higher!

I had my first session with Natalie and was so grateful AiR had offered me this treatment. I have had plantar fasciitis in my foot for 5 months now and it's been giving me agony. After Natalie massaged my poorly foot yesterday, it feels the best its been for ages and I'm actually walking about this morning without too much pain. Another success and an overjoyed customer!

I can't recommend Natalie highly enough. Every treatment is tailored to your needs, and she takes the time to explain what stretches and exercise may help in between sessions. She is worth her weight in gold!

I went to Natalie with a very stiff shoulder and her treatments made a big difference. The pain I was experiencing reduced steadily and after just a few sessions my mobility was restored. I have suffered regular headaches for many years, and Natalie is now working to reduce the frequency and severity. I like the fact that Natalie works holistically. For example, she starts each session with discussion of how things are going since last time, and if there are any other issues to consider, and then she uses this information to tailor the treatment. I should add that I was a bit wary of massage and similar treatments, but Natalie’s professional and discreet approach means that I feel safe and stress-free. In summary I would say that it sometimes seems difficult to prioritise yourself, but my experience with Natalie have proved it to be a wise investment.

I have been seeing Natalie for about 8 years. Over time I have received remedial massage, massage for relaxation, fascia work and more recently cranio work. I suffer with a lot of neck pain and Natalie has worked wonders with the fascia work. Natalie uses a holistic approach and believes very much in enabling clients to take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing. The treatments and advice I have received from Natalie have been life changing for me. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I have found Natalie's massages invaluable in the treatment of my hip. I had a hip replacement a few years ago and it is still troublesome at times but after Natalie's treatment, it is often painfree. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

I have been going to Natalie for around 4 years, initially for massage and now holistic body work sessions. I have seen Natalie in moments of acute pain with my neck and monthly as part of keeping myself well in a forever full and busy daily life. It offers me a space to connect with my body and free my mind of the constant thinking and doing. My body holds much of the rush of day-to-day life and becomes tighter and more squeezed, Natalie is so intuitive, we talk about how I am and collaboratively build an idea of what I need in the session. This often starts with a moment of stillness and looking inward with embodiment exercises. Natalie instinctively responds to what my body needs throughout using a range of techniques including massage, heat, myofascial release and other techniques. During the work I can let go physically and emotionally of any points of holding or tension, I leave feeling relaxed and unwound. I can't recommend Natelie enough, she has an incredibly holistic approach to the work, and my body and mind are now so in tune that the moment I walk in the room with her I instantly feel calmer. The benefits are huge, the immediate sense of calm and release I feel after the session and cumulative effect I feel, from making the space for a regular session has an amazing impact on my overall well-being.

I have been seeing Natalie for a few years now & she is an exceptional therapist. Not only is she very knowledgeable but she is also highly skilled. She has a very calming and patient presence and she affords me time and space to fully relax. I often view our sessions as permission to switch off entirely which is something that doesn’t come very naturally to me. But Natalie is teaching me that it’s ok to do this! Natalie uses various different techniques and practices during our time and these are nothing short of revolutionary for me. She is teaching me a lot. I really value our sessions together, and I really believe they are beneficial to me not only in a physical sense but mentally too. I wouldn’t be without Natalie & I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

Since doing this class I have noticed my shoulder mobility improved, I am much more aware of my posture and ability to relax my body has improved. Socially I feel better and more relaxed and I have learned to listen to my body and take things at a slower pace. Natalie is a lovely teacher.

I have managed to improve my posture, no more hunched shoulders! I have also found the calmness of the class particularly helpful and it has complemented my mindfulness classes. I enjoy learning the sequences which helps to improve my balance and coordination.

The classes are friendly and welcoming and instructions are easy to follow and understand. I find the relaxation and stretching parts of the class particularly helpful in helping me to stretch muscles I never knew could be stretched. My chronic pain issues and ability to kneel feels improved.

Anon (Active in Recovery)

The class offers a real feel good factor for me. I feel each part of the class has a role in benefitting me and i come out of it feeling energised and balanced. I definitely plan on continuing as part of my wellbeing regime.

  • Make sure phone is on silent so you can dedicate the time to let go of all distractions and relax.

  • Be patient with your body – The therapies aim to leave you feeling relaxed, with reduced pain and increased mobility. Treatments can offer an increased feeling of wellness and vitality. Please be aware that to gain real lasting change is a process and can take time.

  • Help the effects to last - Help the process along by avoiding strenuous activity 24-48hrs after a session, notice and avoid triggers to pain, keep postural awareness, use sensible body mechanics, move the body around, spend time in stress reducing, wellness enhancing activities. Staying hydrated, application of heat, mobilising and stretching the body can all help following a session.

  • Longer sessions may be beneficial – You might prefer longer sessions to enable more thorough work, especially if not having regular bodywork. 75 or 90 mins also available.

  • Please give at least 24 hrs notice where possible if you cannot make a session, and rebook when you can so we can keep the process going as needed (missed sessions or late cancellations may incur a fee to cover the loss).

  • Engage with the treatments as you need to – feel free to ask questions, provide feedback about your progress, participate in the tailoring of the treatment, verbalise preference for pressure levels and discontinue the treatments at any time should you wish. You are in charge!
